Welcome to my Web
site! Please take a look around.
I'm a 25-year-old writer and graphic designer in New York City.
I'm currently a graphics editor at
The Wall Street
Journal. I design information graphics for online and
print editions in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
Prior to joining the Journal, I was a freelance graphics
editor at The
New York Times. Most of my journalism background, however,
is in writing and reporting. Before moving to New York, I was
an education reporter at the Gwinnett
Daily Post, a suburban newspaper in Georgia. I've also
interned at The
Associated Press, Reuters,
the Atlanta Journal-Constitution
and the Austin American-Statesman.
In 2007, I graduated from Columbia
University with a master's degree in journalism. There I
was the publicity director for the Society
of Professional Journalists, and organized many of the student
events throughout the year.
I was born in New Delhi, India, raised in Evanston, Ill. and
spent five years in Atlanta, Ga. My family's home is in Connecticut
and I recently moved back to New York City from Philadelphia.
For this reason, I have a tough time answering the question:
"Where are you from?"
If you'd like to get in touch with me for any reason, please
